The National Educational Policy 2020 focuses on Affordability, Accessibility, Quality, Equity, and Accountability to ensure lifelong learning. India is a fast-growing country with over 1113 universities 42000 HEIs. To boost the Indian education system current Government introduced NEP which has vision for transforming our into society of equal living knowledge, by providing quality all. emphasizes Multidisciplinary education, digital literacy, improving communication skills, problem-solving, logical reasoning, Vocational skilling through comprehensive framework. However, they are many challenges needs face implement it. This paper discusses HEIs would be facing promote continual learning create opportunities all stakeholders meet Sustainable Development Goals 2030. second-largest in world found India. policy empowers faculty HEIS conduct innovative teaching, research, community services, incubation centers establishment, technology development, industrial academic linkages, patents, etc. They like lack access higher most economically disadvantaged castes, Technology set back divide, Gender discrimination, improper evaluation assessment system, Few faculty, few teacher training institutes, low levels governance leadership, Less funding, There no uniform road map implementation strategy NEP. role State not stressed; silent RTE act, Language adopted reach global standards, Universalisation education. objective study identify before maintain equity recommendations further development its goal. may look good but complicated Real-world Environment.
